Public Rage on Oil Prices

Rising oil prices hugged the headlines and airwaves- yet its just about complaining. . . oil prices are here to stay and the media, government and academic institutions need to think of solutions - for consumers - this means finding and sharing ways to save energy and water a feat done by Filipinos during the 1974 oil crunch; guess who complain much about rising oil prices - those middle class using cars; the jeepney drivers driving those highly inefficient jeepneys - they should improve the fuel efficiency consumption; for government - it should start its long term effort to wean away from fossil fuel - instead of subsidizing transport systems - put this in developing prototypes of jeepneys and tricycles that run on batteries and install charging stations using renewable energies; encourage farming/ fishing to go into low carbon production and the media to support these endeavors. we should stop complaining as this will not solve our problems.
